August 2007: James Halliday has endorsed Arlewood as a 5 star producer with all our current wines rated at 90+ points!!
November 2006: The 2004 Chardonnay (Gold - see below) is now released. It's also carrying 91 points from Ray Jordan, so you know it's good!
September 2006: Double Gold for Arlewood at The Winewise Small Vigneron's Awards in Sydney for our 2004 Semillon (OUT NOW) and our 2004 Chardonnay (due for release early next year). WOW!!

November 2005: Wow, so much has happened since May 8. We've been showing our wines in Sydney and London with outrageous success and fun, The Gourmet Traveller Wine Magazine voted the 2001 Cabernet Sauvignon top Australian Cabernet and James Halliday gives us some serious attention (and scores) in his 2005 Wine Companion.
May 8, 2005 - Well, we just got that trophy - from The Brisbane Wine Festival for the Best Cabernet Sauvignon of the Show! Also, 5 stars and the highest pointed Australian Cabernet Sauvignon with 96 points in the June/July edition of The Wine Magazine - out now!! Yeehahh!!
Results from the 2004 Margaret River Wine Show; December 1 - 3: A Silver for the 2003 Semillon, and almost the top Gold of the class for the soon to be released 2001 Cabernet Sauvignon (only a whisker away from the trophy!!). Also a couple of Bronzes for the 2002 Chardonnay and the 2002 Loc 3991 - we don't talk much about Bronzes though.
Friday August 13, 2004 - James Halliday's 2005 Wine Companion just out lauds Arlewood saying "The quality and consistency of the wines is now impeccable". Further, James adds of the 2003 Semillon "Finely delineated, crisp, lemony and long; deft use of oak” 93 points. Are those Semillon walls cracking yet??
Sunday June 20, 2004 - the juice hot off the press this week is that the upcoming September / October issue of the eloquently written and beautifully produced Winestate Magazine awards the Arlewood Semillon 2003 and the soon to be released Limited Release "Sussex Location 3991" Semillon Sauvignon Blanc 2002 5 stars *****!!! Of the 275 wines tasted, only 4% or 12 wines received this commendation. This is a stunning result. The May 2004 edition of the "Uncorked" liftout in the Sydney Morning Herald and Melbourne Age gives a great wrap to our 2001 Chardonnay. Huon Hooke and Ralph Kyte Powell say, "Classic Margaret River concentration and class shine through in this wine........terrific intensity in the mouth and great refinement and persistence". 2000-2003 awards list is being updated, but it includes Gold for the 2001 Cabernet Merlot at the 2002 Margaret River Wineshow and at the 2003 Australian Boutique Wine Awards; Gold for the 2003 Semillon and Silver for the 2001 Cabernet Sauvignon at the 2003 Qantas Mt Barker Wineshow. Gold (and Best in Class) for the 2003 Semillon, Silver (and Best in Class) for the soon to be released 2002 Limited Release "Sussex Location 392" Semillon Sauvignon Blanc, Silver for the 2002 Chardonnay Reserve........all at the 2003 Margaret River Wine Show.
